HARRY POTTER SERIES - J.K. Rowling
Does this series even need a synopsis?

I mean this goes in without a breathe! I absolutely absolutely absolutely love HP even when it's been a long time since I finished reading the series and marathoning the entire film set. The ones who love HP know that once you're in it, you are definitely in it for life. For me it was books>>>>>>>>>>>>>>movies but I absolutely enjoyed both.
I just can't understand why some people hate it without even trying a book or a movie.
2. NIGHT SCHOOL - C.J Daugherty
Allie Sheridan’s world is falling apart. Her brother’s run away from home. Her parents ignore her. And she’s just been arrested.
Again.
This time her parents have had enough. They cut her off from her friends and send her away to boarding school, far from her London friends.
But at Cimmeria Academy, Allie is soon caught up in the strange activities of a secret group of elite students.
When she’s attacked late one night the incident sets off a chain of increasingly violent events. As the school begins to seem like a very dangerous place, she finds out that nothing at Cimmeria is what it seems to be.
And that she is not who she thought she was. (Goodreads)

This is a highly underrated series!! I read this like many years ago and I absolutely loved this. It has adventure, romance and everything you could find. This a chefs kiss* series for me and I don't know why it doesn't get the hype it deserves. Allie and Carter the best (this is a huge spoiler btw)!!!!

Isabelle’s expression was enigmatic as pulled on her glasses. “I’m sure that most of you are daydreaming of dancing in the arms of your dates, but we must get through today’s class nonetheless,” she said, opening her book. “So I thought we would talk about romance today. Let’s start with a beautiful poem about secret love. ‘Silentium Amoris’ was written by Oscar Wilde. . . .”
She read the first two stanzas in her rich, powerful voice. Lost in the flowery prose, Allie almost instantly tuned out, drawing a sleepy butterfly on her notebook. She was giving its wings elaborate decoration when she heard her name. Confused, she sat up straighter. Everyone was looking at her.
“Sorry?” she said, flushing.
“Good morning,” Isabelle said as the class tittered. “I said, would you mind reading the third stanza for me.”
Clearing her throat, Allie began reading—she started quickly, but slowed as the words began to take shape.
But surely unto Thee mine eyes did show
Why I am silent, and my lute unstrung;
Else it were better we should part, and go,
Thou to some lips of sweeter melody,
And I to nurse the barren memory Of unkissed kisses,
and songs never sung.
“What does that poem say to you, Allie?”
Horrified to find Isabelle was still focusing on her, Allie tried to think of what to say. Her voice was nearly a whisper.
“He’s afraid to tell somebody how he feels about her, but it makes him sad that she doesn’t know.”
“And why would he be afraid to tell this other person of his feelings?” Isabelle said. Somehow, when Carter answered that question, Allie wasn’t surprised. “Because she might not feel the same way he does.” His voice was steady and calm, and something about it made her blush. “So he thinks it’s better never to find out.”
Keeping her eyes on her notebook, Allie drew a small cage around the butterfly.
“Why would he think that’s better?” Isabelle mused. “Wouldn’t it be better to tell the truth and take his chances?”
“Maybe . . . he’s afraid of being hurt,” Allie said very quietly, adding another bar to the cage she’d created.
The minute class ended, Allie was up from her desk and heading for the door with her head down, determined not to make eye contact with anyone.
Especially Carter.
She was the first one to the stairs, and her feet pounded on the stair boards as she hurried up, counting to herself. . . . thirty-one, thirty-two, thirty-three . . . Inside the sanctuary of her own room, she closed the door behind her and leaned her back against it, staring at the neat familiarity of the space.
What just happened? Was Carter trying to tell me he likes me? Or am I reading into it?
This part is my favorite!!!!!!!!!! Huge spoiler again!!!!! But this scene was just......
3. THE SELECTION SERIES - Kierra Cass
For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth. To be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in a palace and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon.

Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she starts to question all the plans she's made for herself—and realizes that the life she's always dreamed of may not compare to a future she never imagined. (Goodreads)

Idk again kind of underrated but i absolutely loveddddd ittttttttt.... OMG i was happy like a small puppy when I first read it. I have to admit it, buying this book set was a pure coincidence and I purely bought it because I loved the covers. Never I thought it would become one of my favoritesssss.. I admit I prefer the first 3 books about America and Maxon (OMG the definition of finding a Prince Charming!!! chefs kiss********) more than the other two about their daughter's selection.
I admit the ends are rushed and it was like the author was in a hurry to finish and end the book, that was the only negative thing I find in this series. Other than that everything is perfect for me (some may find it cringy but honestly a bit of cringy is okayyyyyyy)!!!!

THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My advice?????? just read it. Buy the book and just READ. Then you'll understand what i'm saying and why i'm hyperventilating when talking about this!!!!
4. PRIDE AND PREJUDICE - JANE AUSTEN
Pride and Prejudice follows the turbulent relationship between Elizabeth Bennet, the daughter of a country gentleman, and Fitzwilliam Darcy, a rich aristocratic landowner. They must overcome the titular sins of pride and prejudice in order to fall in love and marry (Britannica).

As a student who did literature i'm glad i didn't get this book to study but at the same time i'm glad I did literature because it made it easier for me to read this amazing novel! This is not your daily cup of tea and I absolutely hate that the movies released doesn't do this magnificent story enough justice! This deserves proper recognition from people who don't read literature, heavy archaic English language books because this was simply beautiful in its essence.
I can remember almost giving up on this because the language didn't make it easier to read this and sometimes it was hard to get the feeling and understand but in the end I finished it and I absolutely loved it to the core!!!!!!!

5. THE LOVE HYPOTHESIS - Ali Hazelwood
As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, Olive Smith doesn't believe in lasting romantic relationships--but her best friend does, and that's what got her into this situation. Convincing Anh that Olive is dating and well on her way to a happily ever after was always going to take more than hand-wavy Jedi mind tricks: Scientists require proof. So, like any self-respecting biologist, Olive panics and kisses the first man she sees.
That man is none other than Adam Carlsen, a young hotshot professor--and well-known ass. Which is why Olive is positively floored when Stanford's reigning lab tyrant agrees to keep her charade a secret and be her fake boyfriend. But when a big science conference goes haywire, putting Olive's career on the Bunsen burner, Adam surprises her again with his unyielding support and even more unyielding... six-pack abs.
Suddenly their little experiment feels dangerously close to combustion. And Olive discovers that the only thing more complicated than a hypothesis on love is putting her own heart under the microscope. (Goodreads)

I found this book pretty much thanks to booktok and I actually thought I would rate this as a 4 star but if i'm honest, as much as there were loopholes in the plot, i absolutely, crazily love this book because this book gave me butterflies, which a book hasn't been able to give me for quite some time. It's a professor-postgraduate student, grumpyxsunshine trope and as much as I avoid reading romance books, I loved this. I'm not a fan of spice books and I was glad there was only one spice scenes. (for me focusing too much on spice reduces the value and the quality of the book!!!)
** i'll give a separate full review for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>
For now these are the only 5 star reads I can remember and if I have my bookshelves with me it would've been easy but i'm abroad and I can't remember all the books I have read!!! I will edit and add more if I remember others!!
