This was a buddy read with a friend that I meant on bookstagram and I'm grateful for her for recommending these two books to read and although these two ended the story of Tristan and Morana, I can't wait to read about the others in the next books of the series!!

Violence is not something that I enjoy reading and I refrain from reading them and this had a lot considering its about mafia. But Oh.My.God!!!!! This was simply mindblowing and I just couldn't stop myself from rating this a 5 regardless of all the spice I had to read through!!!

These two books had so much of spice but I didn't feel like flipping through the scenes because they were just so intimate with Tristan and Morana.

I absolutely loved this!! Tristan Caine and Morana Vitalio have my whole heart and that's exactly why I wanted to give a review after finishing the first two books which is about their story!!!

Tristen Caine the morally grey character he is but regardless of him being hot, he has my whole heart with him for the things he had to endure as a child. He ended up killing his own father, when he was just a boy, to save Morana when she was a baby, and because of that the mafia turned him to a monster when in fact, they should have held him!! He went through so much but still was there for Morana and protected her from her father! He was her safe haven and although he was the Predator that everyone feared, he has a soft spot for Morana and he knew he could rely on her and help him to fight his monsters!!

For me Tristan will forever have a special place in my heart because even without speaking a lot his actions said about his character!! Even without asking, he always stared as Morana and although it sounds creepy it actually isn't because he's observant and because of it Morana doesn't have to voice out the things she feels uncomfortable telling because one look at her, Tristan knows whatever questions she has on her mind and her thoughts!

I hated the spice scenes as much as I loved them in this series!

This scene was a very powerful scene because in this one Tristan went against Lorenzo who ordered one of the guards to touch Morana and remove the weapons on her! He stepped in and stopped the guard from touching her. Tristan asked for permission from Morana to touch her without balantly touching her, but when he did he made it sure that everyone in the room understood that she's his woman and nobody is allowed to touch or hurt her!

This might not seem like such an important quote but when he said "Yours or mine, doesn't matter" it shows how much he considered his money, to be hers and that there's no distinction between who's money she would use to buy clothes!! From Tristan this was such a big thing for me because he's someone who doesn't help no take care of anyone else! But every time when it came to Morana, he did everything in his power to protect her.

The story in these four photos speaks louder than anything! This was where Morana got to know about how Tristan stormed all alone into his father's den to ask what happened to Morana, when she didn't answer phone because her phone died and she almost got killed by her father, who at the end was not her father at all because her father has been The Reaper! Tristan stood for Morana when Gabriel was badmouthing her as a whole and strictly told him not to touch her and do anything bad for her!!

Morana was taken by this action of Tristan because no one had taken care of her like he did and no one had look for her in all her life like this man, who smelled of whisky and sin did, who wanted to kill her but never did. He was The Predator who's feared by everyone but he had a soft spot for her took care of her, when has done it for in her whole life.

Tristan didn't rely on anyone, he wasn't controlled by anyone and he never lost control but when it came to Morana he did. Morana promised to be there for him when he got a nightmare and she promised that she will help him to get through them even when he asked her to leave afraid that he ll hurt her. Through the time as much as Tristan made Morana feel that he's there for her and he won't leave her, Morana did too. And that's why, he broke out in front of her knowing she will be able to handle him when no one else could. He cried as the boy who became a monster for her and as a man who wanted to control her monsters.

When Morana got to know that Gabriel isn't her father, but The Reaper is, and Morana is not in fact her real name and that she doesn't even know her real name, she started to have a panic attack because her whole life she lived as someone who's not her and now she doesn't know who she is. But Tristan, held her and told her that she is his and will forever be in the long haul.

And then there is Morana Vitalio, a strong female lead who is capable of being a b*tch if gotten on her bad side!

She needed no protection and was capable on her own but she was vulnerable as everyone is. She chose Tristan after knowing what he had done for her even when she could've left him for good. She chose to be with him and became protective of him when she gets to know his story and how in fact vulnerable he is. She relied on him because she knew he would be there protecting her and that he wouldn't let anyone hurt her. She became his Achilles heel and someone he could rely on and became a shoulder that would hold him when he broke!! She loved Tristan regardless of all the flaws he had which outnumbered his strengths!!

There were so many instances where Morana stood up for herself and made an effort to give the warmth that was lost in Tristan's life the moment he killed his father. She knew he didn't meant to do it and for two decades he has been blaming himself for the kidnapping of Luna, his sister and the death of his father who he only meant to stop from killing Morana when she was a baby. The boy who wipped off the blood from Morana was forever scarred because the mafia he belonged to made him a monster, but he made sure that no one will leash and control him. He was a ticking time bomb and unpredictable but Morana knew that somewhere inside the monster he is, the boy who lost everything was inside needing the love and warmth that was taken from him.

Morana loved Tristan for who he is, for the man he has become and didn't care about the blood he has shed because it was common for mafia men and his power. She was patient with him and when he closed up taking time to adjust to the way things were becoming different between him and Morana, Morana made sure to tell him that he's not alone and that he needs to trust her and tell her what's bothering him because both of them are in it for the long haul and they both have to compromise. Morana was the only woman for Tristan because regardless of her being the enemy's daughter, she understood Tristan and made him alive as much as she became alive when he was around. They both are perfect for each other and I can't imagine them being with other people!

I absolutely loved Dante and his protectiveness towards Morana even when she was his enemy's daughter. Morana found a brother figure in Dante and I absolutely love Dante for his personality! He was the next heir after Lorenzo but he was nothing like his father. He was guarded, smart but he was compassionate and protected Morana going beyond their boundaries.

Amara became one of her friends and the moment Morana called her for help, Amara came without wastinga breath. Ans I loved how she valued Tristan's friendship and told Morana the truth because she knew Tristan would never tell Morana anytime soon.

Although she became awol when Dante pretended to be dead, i cant wait to see more of Morana and Amara's friendship and i appreciate how Amara took an effort to contact her people in the Outfit so if Morana needed she had people who will take care of her. I can't wait to read the third one which is about Dante and Amara!!!!

I absolutely loved these two books and I highly recommend them!! Even without much words you will feel butterflies I your stomach whenever Tristan and Morana do a staredown which I loved because even without words they understood what each other felt and yearned!!!

Ps. Wildcat and Caveman are two of my favorite nicknames now!!!
