I was not going to write a separate review for this book, but honestly, I had to write to show how much in love i am with this book and out of all the books booktok made me buy, currently this is my most favorite book and on the very top of the list.
For me I loved almost every cringy scene, the first kiss,
sitting on the lap,

*screams internally*
(ps. as much as I love this scene, I find it highly inappropriate. I mean yes you can sit on your boyfriend's la, but in this case Adam is a frigging professor and they were in an academic setting, surrounded by the staff and undergrads and it was while an academic lecture was going!!!!! No matter others don't pay attention, it is still uncomfortable to sit on a professor's lap during a lecture, even when you're in a (fake) relationship with him!)
applying suns cream in front of everyone,

How can I not fall in love with this novel!!!!!!!!!!!!
kissing after Adam pushed the car,

I mean.... absolute chefs kiss*... mind you this was when they were still fake* dating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the last kiss, confession... OMG i love absolutely everything!!!! I don't annotate books and the only ones I did was the books I read for literature but honestly if I had to annotate this books, there will be scribbles everywhere!!!!!!

Just read it and wish for a Adam Carlsen to be in your life!!!!!!

I need a man like this!! Hazelwood created a fictional character, a grumpy science professor and set the standards way too high!!! How i am I going to be satisfied with a normal person when my standards skyrocketed after reading Love Hypothesis?????????

I'm telling you, don't be satisfied with a guy from onset and just wait patiently *while i'm going nuts* for your own version of Adam Carlsen!!!!

I got actual goosebumps reading this scene and I was trying so hard not to scream*****

chefs kiss****************

How am i supposed to get over this grumpy but absolutely protective, considerate Adam?????????

This quote... an absolute fav from the entire novel!!!!!!!!!!!!
For me the excerpts from the book speaks for itself!!!
**** if you like spicey stuff this is definitely not the book for you because there's only fun scene *jumps happily*. But for me, that's one of the main reasons why I love the book because, I don't like to read so many spice scenes that ultimately make the book a porno and definitely undermine the whole story by mainly focusing on spice!! (maybe that's why I didn't like It ends with Us *shrugs*)
I got butterflies reading this novel, which was surprising because last time I got excited and got butterflies reading a romance book was with the Selection series!!! I put off reading the last chapters because I just couldn't get enough of Adam and Olive. This was an absolute masterpiece and I can't wait to reread this again and againnn!!!!!!!!
Ps. If I absolutely love the book, i'll be giving quotes from the book and not really annotate why I love it *laughs shyly*.
Then I do have to mention the shortcomings of the book, I mean if I didn't have the feels and butterflies I might've rated this book a 4 or a 3 even simply because of how they get into this fake dating trope. I actually expected something like a good reason but, Olive get into this fake dating with Adam solely on the basis of showing her best friend that she can date Olive's ex, Jeremy, because they obviously like each other and Anh didn't go out with Jeremy because she thought Olive still like him. I mean duh? Honestly, although it would be awkward dating your best friend's ex, from the onset author clearly shows that Olive is ok with Anh dating Jeremy and that she has told her friend so. So all Anh had to do was date Jeremy and none of Adam and Olive fake dating wouldn't have happened right? Throughout the whole novel I found this reason to be utterly stupid because it's just a fake reason to date someone and really a way too simple one in fact!!!!
So that was a really down for me and whenever the reason popped up I was kind of uncomfortable because fake dating someone to make your best-friend date your ex is not exactly my thing! I mean fake dating to make your crush/ex jealous I would've totally understand the point but The Love Hypothesis was just in short of that point and in fact many more, like the fact that what would've happened if Olive kissed a random guy who's not Adam? Then there wouldn't be a fake-dating thing between Adam and Olive right?
But keeping those things aside, I did love the novel and I just couldn't stop myself from giving 5 stars. However, i'm not sure whether i'll give the same rating, when I reread this novel in 5-6 years!! But for now, this one's highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!

If you still haven't read this, this is your cue to start reading it NOW!!!!!!!! Thank me later!!!
